On the desktop go to *start menu.
Then click *run.
A pop-up window will appear.
Just type; "cmd" without the quotation marks
Then again a command prompt window will appear.
On that window (black screen)
Type; "ipconfig" again without the quotation marks.
There you go! your IP address will now show on cmd window.
Includes (IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway)
