First thing you need to do is to make sure your computer has a secured password as you may not want other person to access your own computer.

Make sure that the computer you want to control is open.
Before you can control your computer, you must enable first its "remote access".

So here's how;

On your desktop.
Right click the "My Computer" icon then select properties.
Then on the Remote Tab.
Check the box "allow users to connect remotely to this computer"
Select "Apply" then "OK".

Now that you have enabled your Remote Access.
The next step is to get your IP address so here's How To Get The IP Address Of A Computer.

At this point you will be able to access your computer from another computer.

So now to control your own computer from another computer.
Assuming that you are on another computer. NOT your own computer i mean. :]

On the desktop.
Navigate through *start menu.
Select *run.
Then type the word "mstsc". without the quotation marks.
A pop-up window will appear.

Now at this part you type your IP Address. eg "192.168.0.0"
Then click *connect.

There you! as soon as another desktop will appear prompting a password that means you are now controlling the computer of the IP address you have entered. :)
