Here is one of my favorite Clash of Clans: Farming Guide.
Let me show you an easy way to grab loots fast!
Farming with archers!
Farming with archers is very very profitable, you know why?

Let me give you a computation.

A lvl5 archer will cost you for only 200 elixir. With a training time of 25s. So imagine if your troop capacity is 200, then to fill all army camp will cost you 40,000 elixir and 44,000 if troop capacity is 220. Remember this will only take a short amount of time to fill up your army camps.

A lvl6 archer will cost 300 per unit. Cost per unit went up by 50% with just a +2 additional damage which is not very noticeable.

This is one of the reasons why i settle for lvl5 archers.

If you attack and gain a loot of about 100k gold and 100k elixir. Minus your total cost which is less than 50k. Net will be your gained loots. Still your making profits! 

So launch your attack even if the available loots is only 100k because it will still give you profit BUT you have to assess first if you will be able to grab all those loots in their collectors, especially when collectors are placed outside or beyond the range of enemy's defense.

Before attacking always queue up more archers in your barracks. In this way after your attack you will have a bunch of archers ready for the next launch. :) now just a little bit more time to fill up your camp then you will be ready for you next attack!

IF YOU WILL BOOST YOUR barracks to 4x speed. You will have your troops ready on almost after every attack you make. Now all you have to do is to keep on attacking and search for bases with enough loots.

The key to this strategy is to be patient. LOOK for uncollected loots in their collectors. Snipe those with your archers.

You can also use your heroes to soak up damage for your archers.
